Gauri Jhangiani
About Me:
Gauri Jhangiani is a graduate student in the MA in English program at the University of Virginia. She is currently enrolled in the Digital Humanities Certificate program at UVA and completed work on a text analysis study of colonial speeches of Viceroys of the British Raj. Gauri is interested in questions of post-colonial thinking, particularly of language and history and is working on a thesis that examines these questions in the context of Amitav Ghosh’s Ibis Trilogy.
