If you would like to talk to the experts at UVa, here are some ways to get started:
-
To connect with the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities, contact Worthy Martin, director, at wnm@virginia.edu, or Sarah Wells, Scholarly and Technical Communications Officer, at spw4s@virginia.edu.
-
Attend open office hours at Scholars' Lab on Mondays from 10 - 11:30. Just drop in – no appointment needed! Come with your curiosity, your ideas for projects, your technical, design, and project scoping questions, or just the desire to meet others engaged in digital work. If you can’t make our Monday hours, you are always welcome to come by our office in Alderman 415 or schedule an appointment at scholarslab@virginia.edu.
-
Contact David Germano at dfg9w@virginia.edu for questions about Mandala, a sustainable digital ecology supporting innovation and excellence for scholars, staff, and faculty in their learning, research, and engagement activities. Or contact Chris Jewell at ccj2n@virginia.edu for questions about Wordpress.
-
Contact Rennie Mapp, project manager for strategic DH initiatives, at mapp@virginia.edu. As manager for both the graduate DH certificate initiative and the DH@UVa site, she is happy to field questions and connect you with experts.
