Literature in Context info session

Are you interested in research assistant work that can start immediately, go through the summer and into next year and possibly beyond? At $21.98/hour? Working on an open-access digital humanities project supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities? Please come, then, to a Zoom informational session about our project Literature in Context, a grant-supported project to create a digital anthology of literature in English for use in secondary school and college classrooms. Research assistants will do a range of things, from digitizing texts from scratch, bringing them into conformity with the projects standards, researching supplemental material (images, etc.), adding captions for accessibility purposes, proofreading, and more. Some experience with XML/TEI will be a plus, but we can train you in that if you don’t have experience already.

Interested in finding out more? An informational session about the project and what the jobs will entail will be held on April 14 starting at 10:00 am: Join Zoom Meeting
