UVA Research Data Services: Python File Input/Output
With the alphabet soup of files you may encounter (.txt, .csv, .xls, .json, etc) in the wild, how do you handle them all? This is a practical workshop which will use both built-in and external python libraries to read many common file types seen today, convert between files types, and export to your preferred file type.
Expected prior knowledge: beginner/intermediate (more than zero)
