DH Jobs Panel for Grad Students Interested in Non-Academic Jobs
Join DH@UVA and PhD Plus in a panel discussion about transitioning from graduate school into fields beyond the academy, such as tech, public policy, and private industry. This event is open to all but tailored especially for graduate students in the digital humanities with an interest in private- and public-sector work beyond academic and GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums) fields. A collaboration between PhD Plus and DH@UVA, invited speakers from the world of business, startups, think tanks, and more will share insights about their professional experiences and their thoughts on how graduate students can translate skills acquired in the digital humanities to fulfilling careers outside of higher education and GLAM.
