Logan Heiman

Since February 2019, Logan Heiman has served as Communications Specialist for DH@UVA. Prior to this role, he was the project cataloger for the Stuart Cary Welch Islamic and South Asian Photograph Collection at Harvard University's Fine Arts Library from 2016 to 2018. In addition to working on a number of strategic DH initiatives and providing content and support for DH@UVA, Logan leads the development of a UVA Law Library website that will display digital copies of student notebooks kept by students at the University of Virginia School of Law during the antebellum period and the Reconstruction era. The website will serve as a digital resource for scholars wishing to explore UVA Law's historical relationship to the institution of slavery. Logan earned his BA in Classics from Howard University and his AM in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University.
